# Introduction

Intent-based transactions are instructions where users declare the desired outcome rather than specifying the exact execution steps. Traditional bridging methods require users to define a specific path: lock tokens here, mint tokens there, and wait for final confirmation. Intents completely change this model. Users simply state, “I want 100 USDT on BSC,” and a competitive network of solvers determines the best way to achieve that goal.

For users: there is no need to understand bridging, finality, or routing. They only need to express the desired outcome and can receive the result within seconds.
